Kathy is a Manager in the Global Trade and Customs team in PwC Dublin. She joined the firm in 2021 after two years as a Technical Officer in the UK’s Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) in the Department for International Trade in London. Her main experience lies in classifying dual-use and military goods for export controls, advising on export control requirements and conducting export control reviews, risk assessments and trade sanctions reviews.

Since joining PwC, Kathy has worked with a range of industries and sectors in export controls and trade sanctions including US multinationals, cybersecurity, pharmaceutical, retail, aviation, manufacturing and higher education research. In addition to export controls, Kathy also supports clients in a range of sectors in supply chain reviews, excise licensing, customs training, customs duty determination, Brexit and Free Trade Agreement impact assessments, carbon taxes including CBAM, customs audits and other customs-related areas.

She is a graduate in Earth Sciences from Trinity College Dublin and holds a Ph.D in Geochemistry from the University of Leeds.
